Sterra Breeze Air Purifier Review - The Most Effective Air Purifier in Singapore!

Ever since I moved to a new location and now am living on the ground floor (hence nearer to the dust and dirt outside the house) and adopting Tomtom (my cat) from the streets, I've been thinking about ways to make the place more comfortable to live in. Especially for my mom who graciously allowed me to ensure Tomtom has a furrrever home, she wasn't exactly ok with it because I used to have a history of asthma, hence we have to keep the place extra clean.

My first impression of the product was that the design looks extremely sleek and minimalistic. It blends in well with any interior design for future homeowners. It isn't overly bulky, considering that this can clean 3 - 4 HDB room air at any one time! There was even a handle to carry the air purifier around, which I can easily do with 1 arm, I like that it's portable because it's easy to lift it up whenever I'm cleaning the house or moving it from my bedroom to the living room. I am happy to see that the delivery was fast and we got to experience clean air in a few working days! We never expect these sniffy nose situations to arise, and getting a purifier quick and easy is important for me.

I was surprised by how easy the whole installation process was. In fact, my not-so-IT-savvy mom was the one who first used it and told me how easy it was to use with only a few buttons on the top of the air purifier: ON/OFF | Modes | Timer | Light. Depending on how you need to use it, you can choose between 4 different modes: Auto | Whisper Quiet | Medium | High.

My mom loves it because she could feel how crisp the air is after using it, and even more so after tomtom poops/pees. His litter box area stinks sometimes because he might have gotten lazy or missed the spot to cover his pee/poop, so we move the air purifier over to the living room from our bedroom. The smell usually clears up in 10 - 20minutes. As our house is smaller, the smell of cooking oil when we are pan-frying vegetables or deep frying fish usually spread throughout the entire house, so the purifier really helps to clear it up. I love how there's a night light function on the purifier so we can save electricity by not using our night light at night. If you want, you can also choose to turn it off. It only uses low electricity and affordable replacement filters — saving you thousands of dollars in the long run whilst making it spec-for-spec the best value-for-money air purifier. There's also a timer for 2 hours intervals, which helps so I don't have to keep waking up or walking over to the purifier to turn it on/off.

After a week of using it, oh my goodness I never thought that I could feel too much of a difference because such things cannot be seen with the naked eyes. I used to get a runny nose and a slight sore throat due to tomtom's fur. But now, not only do we have fewer instances of such minor flu symptoms, our house also does not contain any stale smell - most apparent when we close all the windows and go out for the day. We enjoy coming back to a nice clean home, as well as a good sleep at night.

 
I would definitely recommend this air purifier to pawrents with furbabies.. because tomtom loves it and I learned that he also benefits from it! The first night when I put the air purifier in the room, tomtom sat beside it the entire time. He seems like he was enjoying the air around it! Just like people, pets can be allergic to pollens, foods, drugs, mites, spores, and chemicals. They can even be allergic to human dander (our old skin that we shed). So I'm really happy that the entire family gets to breathe better because of Sterra Breeze air purifier.
